My philosophy

There is nothing broken in you. Nothing to fix.

Wellness is often offered from the idea that something in you needs to change, improve, or heal. Here, we begin from a different place: you are already whole, exactly as you are today.

Sometimes the noise and stress of daily life can make us forget our own power. These classes aren't about changing who you are. They're a space to return to yourself, rebuild a foundation of deep trust, and cultivate sustainable strength at your own pace.

Here, yoga adapts to the person, not the person to yoga.

The pillars of the practice

A respectful space, centered on your agency

By weaving together trauma-informed care and universal accessibility, we create a space where you always have the final word.

Your autonomy, always

You know your body best. I use invitational language ("I invite you to explore," "if it serves you today") and never offer uninvited physical adjustments. You choose the intensity, the pace, and whether your eyes stay open or closed.

Trust and strength, on your terms

Through mindful, accessible movement, we gently rebuild the connection between mind and body. Poses are broken down to work for any body, and props (blocks, blankets, chairs) are tools for exploration and empowerment, not a "fix for those who can't reach."

Practices for real life

Yoga can stay with you after you roll up your mat. Each class shares simple breathing and grounding techniques you can bring into your day to navigate stress, stay centered, and care for your energy.

About me

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be flexible or experienced?

Not at all. This practice meets your body right where it is today.

What does "trauma-informed" mean here?

It means your agency is respected. No surprises, no forced postures, and no uninvited touch. It's a space designed for predictability, safety, and choice.

How can this help my daily life?

On the mat, we practice helping the nervous system shift out of stress mode. As you repeat simple movements and breaths, your body can begin to remember how to return to that calm and strength when real-life stress shows up.

What to bring?

Comfortable clothes, water, and your own mat.
